We’re taking it back to a time when Seattle was the center of the universe, where skids were the kool kids, and blasé was all the rage. No cell phones, no internet, no way to find awesome new music unless you tuned into taste maker stations like CJSW, lived at HMV, or had a seriously dope older sibling.
For this year’s final installment of our CJSW film series, and our final beer releases of 2025 (one of which took its’ moniker from Sonic Youth) we will be showing the classic ‘1991: The Year Punk Broke’ the way it was meant to be seen - on VHS!
Additionally, we’ll have The Spin Evolution with Joan Sarro in house for our first ever Live Broadcast from 4-6pm. When they’re done, we’ll be spinning 90s alternative bangers with a twist! Instead of Bring Your Own Vinyl, we’re doing Bring Your Own 90s CD and you’ll get half off your first drink.
Dust off that CD collection, pull out the torn flannel, and leave the shampoo ‘til Thursday. We’re gonna party like Christmas isn’t happening and grunge never died.
