Music to My Eyes is a collection of concert photography and portraits which capture the energy, vulnerability, and connection found in live performance or moments one on one with a musician. Some images reflect the raw pulse of a show. Others are quieter, where you can almost hear the silence between songs or the distant caw of a crow in the mountains. This series is about feeling more than perfection. It is a visual love letter to the soundtracks that shape us.

Photographer Bio 

Kyle Riva is a Calgary-based photographer who sees the world a little differently — and uses his camera to help others feel it too. A triple amputee and member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, Kyle’s lived experience deeply shapes how he connects with his subjects and surroundings. His work is guided by instinct, emotion, and a love for the quiet (and not so quiet) moments that say the most.
