Malt: @hogarthmalting Organic Floor Malted Pils, Weyermann Pils, CMC Superior Pils
Hops: Saaz, Motueka, Strata, Citra, Idaho 7
Yeast: 34/70
Dry and drinkable with a balanced bitterness, Ocean View exists at the confluence of two well-loved styles: the West Coast IPA and the German Pilsner. From the former, expect aromatic American hops. The influence of the latter gets the credit for the classic crispness and for toning down the ABV for maximum crushability.
In the interest of blowin’ minds, we used three different types of Pilsner malts from every corner to make this beer. Some from our Old(s) pals @hogarthmalt, and some more from @weyermann_specialty_malts and @canadamaltingco.
