Kölsch Haus - The best way to enjoy the coolest kölsch you know.

Traditional German Kölsch service monthly in our Manchester taproom.

How does it werk?

When you come in you’ll be given a coaster. After you’ve got your spot you’ll be served your first stange (the 0,2L tall, cylindrical glass) of My Best Friend’s Girl. Your Köbes (server) will tick your coaster, and do the same for each subsequent stange they bring. From then on in, your stange will be continuously replenished - no ask necessary. Your Köbes will be regularly making the rounds with their Kranz (wooden serving tray of stanges) ensuring everyone always has a fresh glass.

Then let the good times roll. That crispy, 4.8% brew goes down easy and the whole experience is just effortless - like enjoying a Kölsch should be.

A beerhaus wouldn’t be complete without some nourishment, so we have German inspired food pop ups from friends like Healthy Baby to nosh on while you’re going with the flow.

Got your fill? 

You don’t have to ask to stop service, just put your coaster on top of your stange and your köbes will know that it’s das ende for you.
