About the Wallpaper Trio: Like their namesake, the Wallpaper Trio alternates between creating subtle ambiance and completely encapturing the room they're in. Drawing inspiration from paired-down trios like Sonny Rollins and Elvis Jones, they convey classic bebop and hard-bop language through a modestly modern lens. Featuring Nate Waters on saxophone, Jon Wielebnowski on bass, and Nate Chiang on drums.

About Emile Leger: After plucking his first few notes out as a curious 9-year-old, Emile Leger has been on a journey through the world of music. After a chance exposure to the music of guitarist Wes Montgomery, Emile has embarked on a journey of jazz and improvised music, performing regularly with various groups across the city.

About Adam Pettigrew: While at the University of Calgary, studying under Marilyn Engle and Dr. Lana Henchell for a degree in classical piano, Adam Pettigrew also established a jazz career on double bass. He now performs regularly around Calgary as a sideman, working with Sanah Kadoura, Johnny Summers, Shane Statz, Nate Waters, Michael Sarian, the Sidewinders, the CYJO and many more.

About Michael Callander: Michael studied classical trombone with Jim Scott at the University of Calgary. Michael now has the opportunity playing throughout Calgary as a sought after freelancer for many various events. He regularly finds himself performing with the Calgary Jazz Orchestra. Michael has been blessed to have performed with a wide range of artists, and bands including Al Muirhead, Barry Shaw, Bryan Lynch, Christian McBride, Cory Weeds, Dick Oatts, the Dino Martinis, Ingrid Jensen, Luis Bonilla, Jon Ladines, and the Prime Time Big Band
