What is a lagerpalooza?

Lagerpalooza is a celebration of the undersung cool cats of the beer world. Cold-fermented for more than twice as long as ales, lagers are indeed the chillest of libations. They taste uncomplicated, but that’s not because they’re of a low level of brewing difficulty. On the contrary, these crisp, clean characters have nothing to hide behind, leaving little to no room for error. They’re as easy drinking as they are hard brewing and we’re bringing that precise brand of juxtaposition to this event!

Lagerpalooza is hosted at Annex Ale Project and The Establishment Brewing.

What’s Pouring? Can we purchase cans to-go?

Both breweries will be pouring new lagers and some old favourites. There will be five new beer can releases and collaborations with local and BC breweries. The beer lineup will be announced on March 15th and there will be off-sales available.

What if I don’t drink beer?

There will be minimal non-alcoholic and gluten-free options available.

admission

General admission is $15 and includes a custom Lagerpalooza glass. There are two sessions (Afternoon: 12PM - 4PM and Evening: 5PM - 9PM).

Beer Tokens

Beer tokens can be purchased at both breweries. Tokens are not universal and can only be redeemed at the brewery they were purchased at.

Music

Two sets of DJs will be spinning tunes at The Establishment and Annex throughout both sessions.

Food

It’s not a party without great food. Odd Sausage and Lil’ Empire Burger will be serving up the tastiest of grub throughout Lagerpalooza.

Kids and Pets

This is an 18+ event. Due to inclement weather please leave your pets at home.

Last Call

Is 15 minutes before the end of the session (3:45PM and 8:45PM). If you don’t get through all your beer tokens you can donate them to The Calgary Food Bank on the way out the door.

Refunds

Tickets cannot be refunded within 7 days of the event date. However, if there are extenuating circumstances, we may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis. Annex and Establishment reserve the right to deny refunds and access into venues. Purchase cannot be re-sold but they are transferrable. We encourage attendees to contact our customer service team if they have any questions or concerns.

Abuse and harassment of any kind will not be tolerated whether physical, verbal, or on social media. Any such actions towards staff or attendees will result in removal from the festival without refund.
